Royal Mail Delivery Exclusions
What happens at checkout?
If your postcode is in the list above and your order contains more than two batteries, our system will automatically show DPD or Evri as the only available options — Royal Mail will not appear. You can complete your order normally; we handle the carrier switch behind the scenes.
Why this restriction exists
Royal Mail classifies lithium batteries as restricted dangerous goods. Their guidelines limit packages to no more than 4 cells or 2 batteries per parcel, with a total net weight of 5kg. To remote and offshore postcodes, even tighter limits apply due to air-freight regulations. Shipping above these limits results in parcels being marked non-compliant, returned to sender, or destroyed in transit.

Your first order will be processed through 1Account to verify you're 18 or over. Most customers are verified instantly using electoral roll and credit reference data — no document upload required.
If automatic verification fails, you'll be asked to upload one of:
